Fisker Ocean Extreme Gets a Big Discount, While 2024 Models See Price Increases

Fisker has announced a substantial price reduction for the Fisker Ocean Extreme in both Canada and the US. While the company has lowered the price on its top-of-the-line variant of their electric SUV, they are also increasing prices for lower trims for the 2024 model year.

In Canada the Ocean Extreme’s price is being lowered by C$10,200, bringing the Ocean Extreme’s price to C$79,799 from C$89,999, while in the US the price is being lowered by a US$7,500, resulting in a new price tag of US$61,499. Fisker says this reduction will take effect immediately.

Fisker’s decision to lower prices comes amid competition in the rapidly growing EV market, as stated by Chairman and CEO Henrik Fisker.

“It is essential that Fisker responds to competitive realities in the rapidly growing EV market. We want our customers to have greater access to the Ocean and to be able to take advantage of its exciting combination of innovative features, striking design, sustainable materials, and class-leading range,” Chairman and CEO Henrik Fisker said.

As part of its strategy, Fisker is also preparing for 2024 orders. Starting on November 6, customers can place orders for all model year 2024 trim levels, including the Fisker Ocean Ultra and Sport models. However, unlike the Extreme, these models will see a price increase.

The Ocean Ultra will be priced at C$67,999 in Canada, up from C$63,999, while in the US the price is increasing by US$3,000 to US$52,999. The Sport will increase C$2,000 to C$45,999 in Canada and US$1,500 to US$38,999 south of the border. Importantly, existing pricing for the Sport and Ultra models will be honored for orders completed on November 5, 2023.
