If Beneil Darisuh’s plan was to get Elon Musk’s attention, it definitely worked. During his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan at UFC 262 over the weekend, Dariush vented his frustrations over still not having a Model X that he ordered in December for his then pregnant wife.

The clip of his interview quickly went viral, and Musk replied soon after apologizing for the delay, saying it would be “coming soon.”
It looks like Musk has taken it a step further. Darisuh confirmed on Twitter late last night the CEO has provided him with a loaner Model Y until his Model X is ready to be delivered.

Dariush might have this Model Y for a while. While refresh Model S deliveries are looking like they will start next month, Model X deliveries might not happen until October.
