Thousands of Teslas spotted at the Chinese Luchao Port [VIDEO]

Are you expecting your Tesla Model 3 or Model Y in Europe? If so, you may watch the video below closely because your electric car may be there. YouTuber Wu Wa uploaded the video containing lots of Model 3 and Model Y in the Luchao Port.

According to Tesla fan and investor Sawyer Merritt on Twitter, there are about 3,300 cars in the video. That is significantly more than the total 968 units Tesla shipped in June, but makes sense as it is the first month of Q3, a period where Giga Shanghai focuses its efforts on exports.

Wu Wa explains that the parking space for new cars inside Giga Shanghai is being emptied. The video shows even more Tesla cars arriving at the dock. He also claims all the Model 3’s are shipping to Europe.

Luchao Port is not far from Giga Shanghai, about 6 km away.

Tesla sold 78,906 cars in China in June, a record for the company. It will be interesting to see how many the factory does in July.

Twitter user lazyjones7 made an interesting observation on the video about the color choices offered by Tesla in the replies to Sawyer Merritt’s tweet:

Meanwhile, the days of large Tesla Model Y shipments to Europe from China are limited as Giga Berlin is expected to cater to more European demand as it scales up production.
