Tesla raises prices across the board in both Canada and the US again

Tesla has once again raised the prices on all of its vehicles in both Canada and the United States on Wednesday night, pushing prices to new all-time highs.

The last time Tesla increased prices on all of its vehicles was in March, when some prices increased by as much as $15,800 CAD.

The biggest increase in Canada goes to the Model X Dual Motor, up another $10,400 to $157,990, while the Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive & Performance and Model S & Model X Plaid escaped unscathed.

The entry-level Model Y got yet another price increase, and is now $17,000 more expensive than it was late last year.

As always Tesla makes these changes without explanation, but it is likely the usual suspects – high demand and delivery wait times extending to a full year for many configurations, increasing prices of raw materials, and supply chain challenges all coming together to form a perfect storm.

Here is a breakdown of the price changes in Canada and the US.
