Autonomy launches Tesla Model 3 subscription service in California

A new electric vehicle (EV) subscription service has launched in California with a fleet of Tesla Model 3s.

The service is called Autonomy and allows customers to sign up for a minimum subscription term of 3 months, after which the contract goes month-to-month.

According to the company’s website, Autonomy.com, plans starts from as low as $550 per month when a $5,500 “start fee” (aka down payment) is provided.

You can put down as little as $1,000, but that increases your subscription to $1,000 per month. A $500 security fee is also required.

With your monthly fee all routine maintenance is included, as well as roadside assistance and a 10,000 mile per year warranty.

The entire process, from signing up to arranging the pickup or delivery point, can be done online in under 20 minutes, the company claims.

Customers will be able to manage their subscription through the Autonomy mobile app.

Autonomy’s current fleet consists only of Model 3, but they have plans to expand to other models soon. The company also plans to expand to other markets outside of California.
