Did Tesla just deliver two new Cybertruck bodies to Giga Texas?

Tesla says they will begin Cybertruck production at Giga Texas in mid-2023, but a few recent developments is pointing to the possibility that production could begin sooner than that.

Earlier this week Tesla tuner Unplugged Performance shared an image of the Cybertruck with their new UP CYBRHEX wheels, with the caption saying “arriving sooner than expected.”

There has also been the news that IDRA’s 9,000 ton IDRA Giga Press that will be used to build the Cybertruck arrived in Houston last month and is expected to be delivered to Giga Texas soon.

Adding more potential fuel to the fire, what looks like two Cybertruck bodies arrived at Giga Texas this morning.

The two Cybertruck-shaped deliveries were spotted in a drone flyover of the factory by none other than Joe Tegtmeyer (@JoeTegtmeyer).

Since they are still wrapped it is difficult to say for sure that these are in fact Cybertruck frames, but the shape is unmistakable.

Unlike a previous delivery in July 2021 which was also speculated to be related to the Cybertruck, we know this one comes from Tesla as we can see the Tesla T logo on the plastic wrapping.

Tegtmeyer says this latest delivery could be test bodies to help with the initial setup of the Cybertruck production lines, something which they did when installing the Model Y lines in June 2021.

So far all we have to go is these still images, but we will get to see more when Tegtmeyer uploads his video to YouTube later today. We will add it to this article when that happens.

UPDATE: Here is the video.
