Jony Ive connected to Ferrari’s first EV

According to reporting by the Financial Times, a design firm headed by Jony Ive is collaborating with Ferrari to create the first Ferrari EV.

The former chief design of Apple runs LoveFrom, and the firm also includes Marc Newson, the famous industrial designer.

Exor, the parent company of Ferrari, announced the partnership with LoveFrom on Monday. However, the announcement was a little light on specific details.

According to the reporting, the firm will work with Ferrari on a range of cars. This would also include the planned Ferrari EV with a potential release in 2025.

Although not officially confirmed, many analysts believe an announcement of a Ferrari EV will spike share prices by at least $100.

Ive, of course, left Apple in 2017 after almost 27 years with the company. He led the design of the Mac, iPhone, iPad and iPod.

This is not the first partnership by LoveFrom. Previously, the company worked with Apple and redesigned Airbnb’s website and revamped its rating system.
