Tesla opens their first Superchargers in Africa with two new stations in Morocco

Today, Tesla opened their first two Superchargers in Morocco.

On the last day of the 3rd quarter, a total of 8 V2 stalls went live at the Onomo Hotel in Casablanca, as well as the Al Houara Resort and Spa in Tangier.

These are not only the first Superchargers in Morocco, but also the first Superchargers in all of Africa.

Morocco already has a large Tesla/EV following, as well as an (unofficial) owners club.

In 2018, they started installing DC Fast chargers across the country, and have finally worked their way to their first Superchargers.
