*April Fools* Tesla to build Supercharger & restaurant in Alaska

Another Alaskan Supercharger is on its way, this time in the small community of Prudhoe Bay, about 500 miles north of Fairbanks, and about 1000 miles from the nearest Supercharger in Soldotna.

As you may recall, last month Elon responded to a request from Tesla superfan @28delayslater to add more Superchargers in Alaska.

Immediately following the tweet, work began on drawing up the plans for the Prudhoe Bay Supercharger.

Four V3 stalls are planned in a vacant lot near the airport, as well as a restaurant since there aren’t many amenities close by.

Due to budget shortages, Tesla has resorted to a small take out restaurant, instead of the 50s style roller skate diner that has been pitched in the past.

For Earl’s convenience, a barrier of toxicity was added between the westernmost stall and the rest of the station. That parking space is also recommended for Tesla owners who wish to take Frunkpuppy pictures without being disturbed by other commuters.

According to the permit filing, construction will begin April 20th and the site will open within Two Weeks.
