Tesla begins construction on Surrey’s fifth Supercharger station [British Columbia]

It appears the Tesla capital of British Columbia is Surrey, as the city just outside of Vancouver is getting its fifth Supercharger station.

Construction has started on a new station in the parking lot of the Real Canadian Superstore at 7588 King George Blvd in central Surrey. This location is not surprising as it is the same address that Tesla accidentally revealed as an upcoming Supercharger location in October last year.

Based on photos of the construction shared on TMC it appears this Supercharger will feature 12 stalls. Crews are still completing the groundwork and conduit installation, and no Supercharger equipment can be seen on site yet.

As we noted this is the fifth Supercharger location for Surrey, and the second currently under construction. Another station is being built in south Surrey, also in the parking lot of a Real Canadian Superstore at 2332 160 St. Surrey is also home to a Sales, Service, and Delivery Center location that opened in early 2021.

When these stations are complete and operational there will be a total of 68 Supercharger stalls across Surrey.
