A new Tesla Supercharger is under construction in Penticton, British Columbia.
What appears to be an 8-stall V3 Supercharger is being built at the Riverside Village mall (300 Riverside Drive).
The groundwork for the electrical has already been completed, and concrete forms are in place for the pedestals to be installed.
While there is no Supercharger equipment on site indicating it will in fact be a Supercharger, the Tesla parking signs are a bit of a giveaway.
The Penticton Supercharger was only added to Tesla’s list of planned locations in August, and is scheduled to open before the end of the year.
If they are able to meet that deadline (unlikely given their progress and potential weather-related delays), it will be the 14th new Supercharger in B.C. this year.
Other Superchargers under construction in the province include those in Cranbrook, Castlegar, Creston, and Fernie.
