A new Tesla Supercharger station has begun construction in eastern British Columbia in the District of Invermere.
The new Supercharger is located in the Columbia Valley at the CrossRoads Clover Market Esso at 548 BC-93. Drive Tesla first learned of the location earlier this year after plans for Tesla to install the Superchargers on a district-owned site fell through.
It is difficult to tell from the early stages of construction but the site will likely feature 8-stalls. According to the person who took the photos, Braeden Fairburn, the site will also feature universal DC fast chargers for other electric vehicles (EVs).
British Columbia has clearly been a focus for Tesla in recent months as the number of Superchargers in the province has increased substantially. So far in 2021 eleven new stations have started construction.
Tesla also announced six new B.C. locations in their second quarter update earlier this week.
