Tesla to build Supercharger at World’s Largest Truckstop

If it’s a sign that times are a-changing, a new Supercharger is set to be built at the World’s Largest Truckstop.

Tesla has recently filed permits to build an 8-stall Supercharger at the Iowa 80 truckstop, located in Walcott, Iowa.

The site will have 2 Pre-assembled Supercharger Units on the northwest end of the lot.

The new Superchargers be built across from the 2 ChargePoint fast chargers installed last May.

While Tesla is installing Superchargers at the world’s largest truckstop, Iowa 80 it isn’t the world’s largest gas station.

But not to fear, because Tesla is also planning to build Superchargers at the world’s largest gas station, the future Buc-ee’s in Crossville, TN.
