Tesla owners with EAP can also upgrade to FSD at a discounted price until July 1

In anticipation of the Full Self-Driving price increase coming July 1, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced yesterday that early adopters who purchased their Tesla’s before the driver-assist feature was standard, can buy it at a reduced price until July 1.

With the discount, that still left those owners with Enhanced Autopilot (EAP) out in the dark. EAP has almost all the features of the FSD package, like Auto Park, Smart Summon, and automatic lane changes.

Until recently, EAP had the same feature set as FSD. That made it difficult to bite the bullet and upgrade and pay the full price when you were not going to gain much.

But Musk has now also agreed to lower the price for EAP owners to upgrade to the full suite of features in FSD to $3,000 USD (~$4,000 CAD), for a limited time.

As with the discount for basic Autopilot, this discount is also only applicable until July 1, when the price of FSD increases by $1,000 USD.

So far the changes have not appeared in the accounts of Tesla owners with EAP, but it is expected to update soon.
