Tesla added a new product to its online shop on Tuesday night for Model Y owners, an air mattress. And like most of Tesla’s new product launches, it sold out within a few hours.
UPDATE 8:35am PT: The air mattress is back in stock.
According to the product listing on the Tesla Shop, the Model Y air mattress makes car camping comfortable with its 3 inch “high-density foam filling” designed specifically to fit the curves of the cabin with the rear seats folded down. The mattress itself is waterproof with a polyester exterior that is smooth to the touch.
The Tesla Model Y air mattress measures in at 74.4″ x 50.4″ x 3.12″ and comes with an air pump, which can be used to both inflate and deflate the mattress, an air pump adapter, and two repair patches, just in case.
It can also be stored in the included carry bag, which fits neatly into the Model Y sub-trunk.
The Model Y air mattress is priced at $310 in Canada or $225 in the United States. Unfortunately the product sold out within a few hours of its debut, but you can set up to receive an email alert when it comes back in stock at the links below.
