Tesla job postings hint at Service Center coming to Winnipeg [Update]

Tesla has published two new job postings in Winnipeg, hinting that the company might finally expand and open its first location in Manitoba. While the job postings are a good sign, it does not mean it is a done deal as this isn’t the first time they have appeared on Tesla’s Careers website.

Tesla first looked like it was expanding into Manitoba all the way back in 2020, when the company published a job posting looking for Sales Advisors in Winnipeg. That job posting appeared at the same time as one for Saskatoon, and while they got their own Sales, Service, and Delivery Center early in 2021, there has been no progress towards Tesla opening in Winnipeg.

That may change soon as two new job postings for Winnipeg have appeared on Tesla’s website. This time the company is looking for both Parts Advisors and Sales Advisors, which according to LinkedIn were first published two weeks ago. The Sales Advisor position is available for both full-time and part-time positions, with the job description explaining “your responsibilities encompass guiding customers through their exploration of Tesla’s products and facilitating a seamless sale and delivery process.”

The Parts Advisor position is full-time, and will involve “providing critical parts support to the Service Center.”
