Introduce a Girl to Engineering or Girl Day is designed as an opportunity for  volunteers, educators and industry leaders to inspire middle school girls.

The day includes showcasing engineering activities and showing girls how engineers can change the world. The event hopes to inspire the next generation of women to enter the STEM field.

Envirolution is a Reno-based non-profit organization specializing in developing and scaling education, youth leadership development, and community outreach programs.

The non-profit centres their work around energy efficiency, sustainability and STEM career development.

Tesla has been part of the program for several years.

Interested students will need to register by February 16 by the end of the day. They can register at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/virtualiged
