Tesla has started issuing discounts on the Foundation Series Cybertruck in Canada, with prices dropping on both variants by 5%. This is the first time Tesla has lowered the price of the Foundation Series Cybertruck in Canada, and comes just a few weeks after the company moved to sales of the regular Cybertruck north of the border.
Tesla launched the Foundation Series Cybertruck in Canada in October last year, nearly a year after they first debuted in the U.S., with the Foundation Series carrying high price tags of $137,990 and $165,990 for the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) and Cyberbeast respectively. Despite the high price, sales were initially brisk, but started to slow down once Tesla worked their way through those early reservation holders who completed their orders.
Three months later and Tesla added the Foundation Series to existing inventory, and a week after that started selling the “regular” Cybertruck on its website. At the same time Tesla also raised the price of the Foundation Series initially, but that appeared to have been a mistake as prices were reverted just days later.
Now the company is issuing discounts in an attempt to liquidate the remaining Foundation Series Cybertrucks in Canada. According to Tesla’s website, the Cybertruck AWD is discounted by $6,900, and the Cyberbeast by $8,300, equating to 5% discounts on both vehicles.
Tesla first issued discounts on the Foundation Series Cybertruck in the U.S. just last month.

Along with the discount, Tesla is still offering a free vehicle wrap when you order a Foundation Series Cybertruck and take delivery by March 31. In Canada, this incentive is worth around $7,000, so if you were planning on getting a wrap anyway, and any of the other accessories or goodies included with the Foundation Series, most notably Full Self-Driving (FSD), this might be a good deal for you as it actually works out to less than the regular Cybertruck.
Don’t forget you can also use a referral link and take another $1,300 off your Foundation Series Cybertruck.
