Tesla is frequently updating the rewards available to owners through the referral program, and the latest addition is the chance to win a Model Y Long Range.
Tesla launched a revamped version of their referral program late last year in which owners can earn credits when someone purchases a car with their unique referral code. Those credits can then be redeemed for various items like clothing, accessories, and even software upgrades like Premium Connectivity and Full Self-Driving (FSD) Capability.
Last month Tesla added a new sweepstakes option, with the first giveaway being a Model 3 Performance. An entry cost 1,000 credits, so with each referral of 10,000 points, you could theoretically enter up to 10 times per referral. The draw for the Model 3 Performance took place on October 6 (they haven’t announced a winner, and likely won’t), and one week later they are giving away another car.
This time Tesla raffling off a Model Y Long Range. Like last time the sweepstakes is available in both Canada and the US, and each entry costs 1,000 credits. No specific date for the draw is given, except that it will take place in January 2024.
