A new Tesla Supercharger has been found under construction in Sherbrooke, Quebec. It is located at a rest stop right off Hwy 610 on the northeast side of the city at 1900 QC-216.
The site was originally discovered by Jasmin L’Espérance on the private Model 3 Quebec Facebook forum. The images show the site will feature 8 stalls.
The site also appears be part of a new partnership with the Electric Circuit, as the Superchargers are being built next to one of the Circuit’s largest stations with 6 fast chargers ranging from 50-100kW.
This Quebec Supercharger is the first location to begin construction in 2021 outside of British Columbia. Three stations in Ontario have opened this year, but all took several months to be turned on after construction was finished in 2020.
According to Tesla’s website, the Sherbrooke Supercharger has a targeted opening date of Q3 2021.
