Lucid Opens Orders for Gravity SUV in Canada

Lucid is expanding its footprint in Canada by opening orders for its Gravity SUV. Starting today, Canadian customers are now able to place orders for the Lucid Gravity Grand Touring, the premium version of the all-electric SUV.

The Gravity will initially be available in the Grand Touring trim, which starts at $134,500. This model is equipped with dual electric motors producing an impressive 828 horsepower and delivers a projected range of over 720 kilometers on a single charge. A more affordable Touring variant will arrive in late 2025, starting at $113,500. Lucid has yet to reveal the full specifications for the Touring trim, but it is expected to offer a balance of performance and luxury at a slightly lower price point.

With the Gravity’s pricing and performance figures, it competes directly with Tesla’s Model X, which after recent price hikes starts at $121,990 for the standard All-Wheel Drive (AWD) model and $142,990 for the high-performance Plaid variant.

Canadian customers can customize their Gravity Grand Touring using Lucid’s online Design Yours configurator. Lucid told us they don’t have timing yet for when the first Gravity deliveries in Canada will take place, only that it will be in the second half of the year.

The Graivty was the first non-Tesla to be delivered in the US with a North America Charging Standard (NACS) charge port, ensuring is its compatibility with Tesla’s extensive Supercharger network in North America. Unlike other EVs that require an adapter, Lucid Gravity drivers will have direct access to these charging stations, significantly improving long-distance travel convenience.

The electric SUV also supports 926V charging technology, allowing its 123 kWh battery pack to charge at up to 400 kW on high-voltage 1000V chargers and maintain a charging rate of 225 kW on Tesla’s V3 Superchargers and other 500V fast chargers.

The announcement of Gravity orders for Canada follows Lucid’s recent pricing reveal and the SUV’s debut at the Montreal International Auto Show in January.
