Lucid announced that the company is having a Production Preview Week at their AMP-1 factory. Located in Casa Grande, Arizona, Lucid’s Advanced Manufacturing Plant (AMP) is open to media, policymakers and select customers. The event will run the week of September 27, 2021.
The guests will be able to view the production of the Lucid Air. Guests can also chat about EV technology with Lucid engineers and experience the Lucid Air on the road. The company noted that more events would be added as the date comes closer.
Lucid Air recently received very positive reviews from Motor Trend, and the company is looking to capitalize on the positive reviews. The first shipments of the Lucid Air will happen later this year.
The AMP-1 factory is state-of-art and completed with expansion in mind as the company will produce both the Lucid Air and the recently announced Project Gravity SUV. The site is the first greenfield, dedicated electric vehicle factory built in North America.
