Fisker Ocean is now available in Europe

Fisker announced that the company’s debut vehicle, the Fisker Ocean, now has sales approval in the European market.

Per Electrive.com, the company was waiting for the green light to start selling but opened sales centres in Vienna and Copenhagen a few weeks ago in preparation.

Fisker is offering one in four trim levels:

  • Ocean One
  • Ocean Extreme
  • Ocean Ultra
  • Ocean Sport

Since November, the company has been producing the Ocean at its contracted manufacturing plant run by Magna in Graz, Austria. So, with a plethora of Ocean One launch edition units ready for shipping, the vehicles could be delivered to clients as early as May 5.

Per Henrik Fisker, Chairman and CEO:

The entire Fisker team is excited to get the Fisker Ocean One launch edition to our reservation holders. Our first delivery is expected on May 5. After that, we intend to deliver all Ocean Ones by the end of September while also initiating some deliveries of the Fisker Ocean Extreme, starting in Europe with the US to follow.

Per the company, the Ocean Ultra and Ocean Sport trims deliveries will also start in September.

The second Fisker vehicle, the Fisker Pear, is currently in development. However, the company has not confirmed if they will build the car in a dedicated Fisker facility or contract the work out as they did with the Ocean.
