Tesla website administrators have been earning their pay this week, especially after the number of changes that happened with the Model 3, and Model Y and Model X.
One change that flew under the radar is an increase in range for the Performance Model S.
Until now, the fastest version of Tesla’s flagship sedan could travel an impressive 560km (347 miles) on a single change.
Always looking for more, Tesla has now increased that range by a huge 63 km (39 miles) to 623km (387 miles), just 24km shy of the Long Range Plus.
With the range boost for the Model S, all of Tesla vehicles received updates this week that allow them to travel further on a single charge.
Not only that, but Tesla reduced the price of the Long Range Plus this week, even dropping it twice in the US.
