Tesla Model 3 sold out in Europe until Q2 2022

Just 10 days into the new year, Tesla has already sold out their entire Model 3 production supply destined for Europe in the first quarter of 2022.

According to the online Design Studio, the earliest date a customer can get the electric sedan in Europe is May 2022.

Similar to conditions in North America, this earliest date requires you to opt for either the Performance variant, or upgraded wheels on the Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) or Long Range variants.

If you decide to go with the stock choices (black interior, white paint, 18″ aeros), you will have to until June 2022 to receive your new car. (h/t: @tesla_adri)

These long delivery wait times should not be too surprising considering the popularity of the Model 3 in this part of the world.

The electric sedan was the best selling car in Europe in September 2021, even when taking gas-powered cars into account.

That was not an isolated incident. In the United Kingdom (UK), the Model 3 was the second best selling car of any type for the whole year.

It was also extremely popular in Norway, the country that leads the world in EV adoption. Thanks to the introduction of the Model Y in the last few months of the year, Tesla was the best-selling car brand in the Nordic country last year.
