Updated Tesla Cybertruck design will ‘probably’ be unveiled in Q2, focus is on production: Elon Musk

After months of waiting and thousands of questions asking for another update, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has said he will ‘probably’ reveal the updated design of the Cybertruck in the next few months.

Musk made the comments on Twitter, saying Tesla’s focus right now is getting Giga Texas up and running so they can begin manufacturing it later this year.

The automaker began construction of Giga Texas last year and has been making rapid progress with many buildings already taking shape. According to plans revealed last year, Tesla is hoping to have the plant substantially complete by May 1, 2021.

Musk has made similar promises before. In November he said he would likely release images of the new design the following month.

What is the new Cybertruck design?

That is the million dollar question and the reason for fans peppering the CEO with questions every time he is on Twitter.

The only thing we know for sure is that it is a little smaller. In an interview with Joe Rogan last month, Musk said the final design will look very similar to what we saw at the unveiling, but it will be about 3% smaller.
