Tesla Supercharger in Williams Lake under construction [British Columbia]

A new 8 stall Tesla Supercharger is under construction at Prosperity Ridge Shopping Centre in Williams Lake. The news was posted by Goat FM on Facebook, which received photos from Williams Lake city councillor Scott Nelson.

The Supercharger is being installed in the center of the parking lot (GPS approx: 52.1127, -122.1254). Amenities within walking distance include Subway, Dollarama, Walmart and Winners, among others.

The site is located about 2.5 kilometres from the main highway, BC-97. The route is said to receive stations in Quesnel, Prince George, and Cache Creek by the end of the year.

This news of breaking ground comes as the Village of McBride, about halfway between Prince George and Jasper, is in talks with Tesla to bring a Supercharger to the area.
