Tesla is preparing to put the Semi in front of a Canadian audience for the first time. The class 8 electric truck will make its Canadian display debut during Truck World 2026, which runs from April 16 to April 18 at The International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.
Before heading to the show floor however, the Semi will make an exclusive stop at Tesla Vaughan (2 Chrislea Rd), giving owners their first opportunity to see the truck up close on Canadian soil during a VIP event hosted by Tesla and being organized by Tesla Club TO.

UPDATE 9:00am PT: Capacity has been reached and registration for the exclusive event at Tesla Vaughan has now closed. We kindly ask that if you did not register in time, please do not try to attend – you will not be admitted.
The Canadian appearance is significant because, despite years of interest, there have been no opportunities to see the Semi in person north of the border. Truck World gives Tesla a chance to put the vehicle in front of Canadian fleet buyers and industry decision-makers at a time when interest in electrifying freight continues to grow, even as infrastructure, costs, and vehicle availability remain major talking points.
Truck World attracts trucking executives, fleet operators, suppliers, and government stakeholders, exactly the kind of audience Tesla needs in front of as it prepares to begin mass production of the Semi in Nevada this year.
The show’s 2026 edition is scheduled for Thursday, April 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday, April 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, April 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 6900 Airport Road in Mississauga.
The event itself is also leaning into that transition. Truck World says its 2026 show will feature emerging technologies and a Ride & Drive experience highlighting hydrogen, battery-electric, and other advanced commercial vehicle solutions. Plug’n Drive has separately promoted a Truck World Ride & Drive feature running April 16 and 17, which will include the Tesla Semi.
