Musk has been a strong supporter of Ukraine since Russian invaded the country last month. He has already activated Starlink service in the area and sent dozens of terminals to Ukraine to help keep the government and citizens connected to the internet amid attacks on the nation’s communication infrastructure.
It hasn’t come without its challenges though. Musk warned that the chances of Starlink being targeted by the Russians was high, and advised people to only use it when necessary and do what they can to camouflage the white Dish McFlatface.
SpaceX has also had to reprioritize its staff to focus on cyber defense and to prevent signal jamming.
