Videos of Tesla’s Full Self-Driving FSD (Beta) in action

If you didn’t catch our article earlier tonight, Tesla has allowed some owners to post photos and videos of their new Full Self-Driving (FSD) rewrite.

We are now starting to get the first videos of the self-driving feature in action, and what we’re seeing so far is really impressive.

The important thing to keep in mind when seeing these videos is this is the very first release. Not only that, it is being kept to an extremely small number of owners. Based on information we’ve received, it could be as small as just 20 owners.

Probably the most impressive thing we’ve noticed is how much data the car is able to take in and process in real-time. The amount of “stuff” shown on the visualization is much more than what we currently see in Tesla vehicles.

While the user interface (UI) appears quite rudimentary, don’t be alarmed. It will only improve from here and will likely look very different by the time it reaches the full public release, which CEO Elon Musk is hoping will happen before the end of the year.

Here are some of the first videos of a Tesla driving by itself on city streets. This article will be updated as more videos are released, so keep checking back for updates.
