Government Of Canada Invests In Torque Network – The First Social Networking App In The World For The EV Tech Community

Designed and produced by Ecohive, Torque Network is the world’s first social networking app for the EV tech community.

The app, which was only made possible by the Government of Canada’s Zero-Emission Vehicle Awareness Initiative, was released today on the Apple App Store. The Toronto green energy company has received $50,000 in investment.

Torque Network helps users to learn and understand EV technology and concepts by providing engaging content, fascinating information, and infographics. It also allows EV enthusiasts, industry professionals, and ecopreneurs to expand their network and make a difference in their EV spaces. Users will be linked based on their preferences, priorities, and geographical locations.

The app was developed to serve as a catalyst for positive change and collaboration through a shared passion for EVs. Its mission is to develop humanity’s consciousness through technological advances that will lower its carbon footprints and promote human behaviour that is in tune with nature. It also intends to build a high-performing digital ecosystem that will facilitate the process of researching, educating, and purchasing EVs.

Torque Network is currently only available in Canada on the Apple App Store. It will be published on Android in the future, as well as in the United States, Europe, and the rest of the world.
