A small stretch of Highway 7 in Markham, Ontario will soon be home to three Supercharger stations. A new Supercharger is under construction in the Whole Foods parking lot at 3997 Hwy 7.

According to photos of the site shared on the TMC forums, the site will feature 8 V3 stalls, capable of charging speeds up to 250kW. Construction likely started recently as Tesla used their prefabricated Supercharger installation method in which banks of four Supercharger stalls are pre-built off site and simply placed into their spot in the parking lot, where work has already taken place to line up the electrical connections underground.

According to Tesla the targeted opening date for the new Markham Supercharger is Q3 2023. Once it is up and running there will be three Superchargers within 6km of each other along Hwy 7. There is a 20 stall V2 (150kW) Supercharger 3km to the west at SmartCentres Markham Woodside, while there is another 20 stall V2 station 3.3km to the east at CF Markville Shopping Centre.
