Tesla updates Design Studio to add home charging options

Tesla recently stopped including the Mobile Connector Bundle with every new vehicle purchase, meanings buyers had to go to the Tesla Shop to purchase the bundle or the Wall Connector to ensure they could charge their vehicles at their home.

Tesla has now made that process easier by adding a new ‘Charging’ section to the Design Studio.

Buyers can now add either the Wall Connector for $510 CAD/$400 USD, or Mobile Connector for $255 CAD/$200 USD to their vehicle before hitting that order button.

It is worth noting that the Mobile Connector is not currently available and is estimated to be back in stock between August and October 2022.

This would potentially impact those buyers opting for the non-entry level variants which have delivery wait times as short as June depending on the configuration.
