Tesla has announced they will publish their Q3 2021 financial results and host their earnings call on Wednesday, October 20, 2021.
According to a press release, the company’s quarterly financial results will be posted after the markets close that day. Later at 4:30pm Central Time / 5:30pm Eastern Time the company will host their earnings call, which will also be livestreamed.
If the date seems early to you, that’s because it is. Tesla typically releases this information around the 26th or 27th day of the month.
This may also be the first earnings call without CEO Elon Musk behind the microphone.
At the Q2 2021 call Musk announced he was so busy that he would only attend the Annual Meeting of Stockholders, and only appear at earnings call if there was something important to say or announce.
Earlier this month Tesla announced they had broken more records in Q3. A total of 241,300 cars were delivered around the world, while the company was able to manufacture 237,823 vehicles at Fremont and Giga Shanghai.
