Tesla game controller coming soon suggests Director of Product Design

When Tesla unveiled the Model S Plaid at a special delivery event in June 2021, one of the display vehicles included an all-new Tesla wireless controller.

The controller closely resembled the PS5 controller with a directional pad, four action buttons, and two analog sticks.

Six months later and we haven’t seen the controller since, but that may soon change based comments made by Tesla’s Director of Product Design Javier Verdura.

When asked by The Kilowatts this morning if he will notify owners before Tesla launches their own game controller, Verdura responded with “of course!”

Verdura hasn’t provided any further details, but his comment is a sign that Tesla does plan to release one, it’s just a matter of when.

We’ll be keeping a close eye on the Tesla Shop for any new additions.
