Tesla opens up Design Studio for orders in Hungary and Romania

Tesla has expanded further into the international market and is now taking orders in Hungary and Romania.

In both countries, hopeful Tesla owners can now place orders for the Model S, Model 3, and Model X. They could be in for quite a wait though.

The first vehicles to arrive will be the Model 3, with all three variants showing an expected delivery date of September 2021. Pricing for the electric sedan is similar to other European countries, ranging from €42,990 ($63,200 CAD) for the Standard Range Plus (SR+) to €59,990 ($88,277 CAD) for the Performance Model 3 in Romania, and Ft 14,999,990 ($62,150 CAD) to Ft 22,499,900 ($93,200 CAD) in Hungary.

Unsurprisingly, the Model S and Model X won’t arrive in either country until sometime in the first quarter of 2022.
