Tesla CEO Elon Musk named to TIME100 list of most influential people of 2021

To no surprise, the CEO of Tesla (among others) Elon Musk was named one of the TIME100 most influential people of 2021. Musk made the list under the category of innovator.

The TIME100 list looks to create a tribute to those who had had a positive impact on the world. According to TIME, it is far more than a list; is it a community of leaders who inspire others to spring into action.

The TIME100 list notes that Musk is more than just a simple entrepreneur. He has lead creative and innovative companies, including The Boring Company, SpaceX and Tesla.

Further to this, TIME noted, “[Musk is] offering a model for how we can solve the big, existential challenges in front of us.”

TIME divides the list into parts, including icons, pioneers, titans, artists, leaders and innovators. Some notable names include Naomi Osaka, Omar Sy, Simone Biles, Billie Eilish and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
