Tesla’s Canadian Supercharger team is clearly focusing their efforts on Ontario, as another Supercharger is currently under construction in the province. This time a new Supercharger has popped up in Kitchener, marking the seventh Supercharger that is under construction or waiting to be turned on in Ontario.
The new Kitchener Supercharger is located in the parking lot of the Sunrise Shopping Center at 1400 Ottawa St S. Based on photos shared with us by @WREVAGroup on X (formerly Twitter), the site will feature 8 V3 Supercharger stalls, including one pull in stall. Like several other Supercharger stations we have seen as of late, the stalls will be accessible from both sides.

Once up and running this will provide some much needed relief for owners in the area as it will be just the second Supercharger station in Kitchener. The only other station is located at the Tesla Kitchener Service Center, where 8 V3 stalls are available to the public. That station opened in 2020 and happened to be the 100th in Canada.
Kitchener is the latest in a string of Superchargers that are being built in Ontario. Other locations that have appeared in recent months include Mississauga, Guelph, Oakville, and Markham. New stations have also opened in Mississauga, Napanee, and Grimsby.
Plans were also recently uncovered for a 20-stall station that will hopefully be coming soon to Vaughan.
