Rivian has expanded its R1 Shop to now include customers in Canada without an existing reservation. This allows anyone to purchase either the R1T or R1S directly from existing inventory, with the possibility of receiving their new electric vehicle (EV) in as little as one week.
Initially, the R1 Shop was launched in the United States back in June 2022, offering early reservation holders the chance to buy from the existing inventory of R1T electric trucks.
The R1 Shop then expanded to Canada in June 2023, but only for existing reservation holders. Now, Canadian customers without a reservation can also take advantage of this opportunity.
A review of the Rivian R1 Shop in Canada shows customers can choose from dozens of R1T or R1S in available inventory and, depending on their selection and location, may receive their vehicle within one week. This is a significant improvement compared to the previous long wait times for delivery.
The R1 Shop features a variety of configurations for the R1T electric truck, allowing customers to filter options based on year, paint, drive system, interior, and more.
The lowest priced R1T we could find in Vancouver was a 2023 Adventure Package Quad-Motor for C$116,500, while the cheapest R1S was a 2024 Adventure Package with Large Battery pack and Dual-Motor AWD for C$127,000.
