Lucid has begun notifying select Air Dream Edition reservation holders that they will be taking delivery of their new luxury electric sedans in less than one week.
Over the weekend Lucid hinted that deliveries would begin soon by sharing a photo of a car carrier loaded with Air EVs leaving their AMP-1 manufacturing facility in Casa Grande, Arizona.

Now the company has assigned the VINs of those vehicles to early reservation holders, and invited them to a special delivery event at their headquarters on October 30, 2021.
According to a copy of the email shared by Tesla enthusiast @SawyerMerritt, the event will begin at 8:15am and run until 2:00pm at 7373 Gateway Blvd in Newark, California.
We expect Lucid to make an official announcement soon with more details.
Canadian reservation holders will have to wait a little longer. The company tells Drive Tesla some of the 520 Air Dream Edition cars are destined for Canada, but won’t arrive until later this year.
