Thousands of Tesla Model 3’s arrive at Port of Zeebrugge, Belgium

Tesla’s sales numbers in Europe could hit records highs over the next few months after a massive shipment of Model 3’s have arrived in the Port of Zeebrugge, Belgium.

The electric sedans arrived at the world’s largest car terminal late last week on two ships. According to Tesla ship tracker Morten Grove, the Lake Geneva, carrying cars from Giga Shanghai, and the Glovis Century with cars from Fremont, both docked at the terminal on June 5.

A video more than one minute long that appears to have been taken from the deck of the Glovis Century shows the vast number of Model 3’s that have been unloaded, likely from just that one ship.

As the image above shows, the Lake Geneva was located on the west side of the terminal, suggesting there are even more cars than what is seen in the video.

In an discussion with Drive Tesla, Grove says at least some of these vehicles are already on their way to Drammen, Norway, the country with the highest rate of EV adoption in the world.

With just over three weeks to go in the second quarter of the year, the majority of these cars will impact Tesla’s Q3 delivery numbers.
