If you are in Kelowna, you now have another option to ride in a Tesla cab, as Kelowna Cabs has recently added a Tesla Model 3 Long Range to its fleet.
It is the first Tesla for Kelowna Cabs, but not the first for Kelowna as Current Taxi also operates a Tesla Taxi service in the area.
Kelowna Cabs added the Tesla because of the low cost of maintenance and the very high gas prices recently in BC. They have plans to add more Tesla’s to their fleet, possibly even before the end of the year, depending on the success of this first Tesla.

To be fair to all of their customers, you can’t specifically request the Tesla for your ride, you’ll have to hope for some good luck as they have a total fleet of over 70 vehicles.
