More than a few days later than expected, Tesla has begun deploying the next version of its Full Self-Driving (FSD) Beta software, 10.12, but only to employees for now.
According to a now deleted tweet, which we were able to capture a screenshot of before it was removed, the new version of FSD Beta is included in software update 2022.12.3.10.
Since it has only just been released to internal testers, we haven’t seen a copy of the release notes, which Elon Musk has said will be much longer than previous versions.

However, we will likely see them very soon based on leaks of FSD Beta release notes in the past.
Musk said last week that a limited release of version 10.12 was planned for Sunday, a timeline that was already delayed due to what he called many “upgrades to core code” resulting in the software team was finding more bugs than usual.
Musk also suggested if this version performs well, the testing program could be expanded to those with a Safety Score of 95 or above.
This update should also include some other recent improvements included in recent non-FSD Beta releases like improved bottom bar customization (hello HVAC controls) and an increase to the Autopilot speed limit.
