Tesla shows off fleet of Tesla Semi trucks at Giga Nevada Megacharger

Without any commentary in the shareholder deck regarding production or deliveries, Tesla has shared the first official image of the Giga Nevada Megacharger station with a fleet of four new Tesla Semi trucks.

The image confirms that the Semi has entered limited production at Giga Nevada, something Drive Tesla reported on in early December.

What the image doesn’t confirm is when the first deliveries will take place, but in typical Tesla fashion, the image may provide a clue.

PepsiCo CEO Ramon Laguarta said during an interview with CNBC in November that his company was still expecting to take delivery of the first Tesla Semis in 2021.

The announcement was a surprise since Tesla had said production had been delayed until 2023.

While that didn’t happen, the deliveries are still expected to take place before the end of January based on information provided to us from a source.

With the four Semis (presumably) plugged in at the Megacharger, Tesla could be hinting that they are ready to go and PepsiCo could be receiving them in the next few days or weeks.
