As part of their Chinese New Year celebrations, Tesla is now offering a trial of Enhanced Autopilot (EAP) in China.
The first offer is for new buyers who received their vehicles before February 15. Tesla will provide a free trial of EAP until February 26. This offer is only valid for those who didn’t buy EAP or FSD at the time of purchase.
The second offer is for those who purchase either EAP or FSD at the time of ordering. If you take delivery between February 16 and June 30, 2021, you will get a 30-day trial to test out the self-driving software.
This latest offers comes on the heels of Tesla reintroducing EAP in a number of markets outside North America, including China.
The likely reason behind the promotional offer is to get more customers in China to buy the FSD package. CEO Elon Musk said the FSD adoption rate in China is only around 1-2%.
