Fresh off adding Model Y winter wheel and tire packages for both the Gemini and Induction wheels, Tesla has now also added snow chains to its online shop.
Just in time for winter, the König XG-12 Pro 252 snow chains provide superior traction, driving comfort and performance in snowy conditions, says the product description.
Featuring easy installation, the patented micro-regulation system and pattern design with double traction plates offer perfect chain self-tensioning and excellent traction.
If you plan on using the snow chains with the 19″ Gemini wheels, Tesla recommends removing the aero cover before installing the chains to prevent damage.
The kit includes 1 pair of chains for two wheels, and a storage case.
The snow chains are available now on the Tesla Shop for $310 CAD or $235 USD.
