Tesla Charging Q1 2026 data is in, and a total of 2,500 Supercharger stalls were opened, which is a 19 percent increase from last year’s first quarter.

According to the update shared by TeslaCharging on X, a number of parameters improved over the same period as the previous year. Globally, 53 million charging sessions were recorded, a 26 percent climb from last year’s figure.

A total of 1.8 TWh of energy was delivered to electric vehicles from Tesla’s charging stalls, a 22 percent YoY growth. By providing EV charging solutions, the auto company’s division helped owners avoid buying 823 million liters of gasoline. As a result, an estimated 3.4 billion kilograms of CO2 emissions have been avoided.

The iconic Tesla Diner in West Hollywood, California, is no exception. The retro-futuristic theme spot has also reportedly served 9,800 milkshakes in the first quarter of the year. Since it was opened in July 2025, the diner has provided Tesla owners and other visitors with access to a Supercharging station, a drive-in theater, and a classic American dining experience.

Many reactions to the post tend towards describing the last three months as a good start to the year. The automaker is making a concerted effort to ensure EV charging is more accessible than ever, even in conflict-affected regions of the Middle East.
