How to emboss a Tesla logo on your center console

If you are looking for a way to stand out from the crown and customize your Tesla Model 3, a great way to do that is to emboss a Tesla logo (or anything you want) on your center console.

If you’re not familiar with the term embossing, it simply means to created a raised image in paper or other materials. In our example here, we will be creating a raised-relief image of the Tesla T logo using vinyl.

The first thing you’re going to need is a wrap for your center console. We recommend the Nikola Pro center console wrap, which comes in a variety of finishes, for just $19 USD. You will also need a Tesla T logo. Nikola Pro also seems decal wrap kits, which includes a number of T logos of various sizes. If you use this link, you will automatically get a 10% discount applied at checkout, reducing the already cheap price even further.

The first step in the process is to clean your center console before applying the vinyl stickers. The kit comes with two alcohol wipes you can use for this. Make sure all dust and dirt has been removed and you are working with a clean surface.

Now it is time to apply the T logo. You will want to make sure it is centered on the center console. For this, I placed a piece of paper over the middle of the cup holder that extended onto the center console. I then lined up the bottom of the T with that marker, and placed the sticker down. Using the provided squeegee, ensure the sticker is fully applied before removing the backing paper.

If necessary, wipe down the console again to get rid of any dust or fingerprints that might have happened during the previous step.

Now simply apply the center console wrap as instructed by Nikola Pro. The new installation process is very easy, and takes only a minute or two at most. Once applied, you will want to use either your fingers or the squeegee to go around the edges of the T logo to ensure it is “sticking out” as much as possible.

That’s all it takes to customize your center console in your Tesla Model 3. Check out the install video below to see just how it easy it actually is.
