It appears that construction has finally finished on Squamish’s second Supercharger site.
We reported back on June 21 that the site had started construction.
However, the site was not included in the Find Us map at that time.
Thanks to Matteo Perron, a Drive Tesla reader, we have the first pictures of the site up and running.
The new site is at a commercial building at 1201 Commercial Way and includes 12 V3 Superchargers.
The site sits just off the Sea to Sky Highway and is about four minutes away from the other Supercharger in Squamish.
Evidently, there is a high demand in the area, especially as Squamish is the halfway point between Vancouver and Whistler and is a traditional stop on the way up to the famous resort.
The area has seen an increase in local tourism over the last few years, and as more Vancouverites look to head to the mountains, this charger is an ideal spot to get out of the city and grab a bite to eat.
If you are looking for a good spot to grab a bite while charging, Backcountry Brewing has great food and better beer!
Tesla has a couple of other Superchargers under construction in the province, including a new Supercharger in Kamloops and one in Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast.
