The Tesla Supercharger route along Hwy 97 in British Columbia is now complete with the opening of the Prince George Supercharger this morning.
Construction of the 8-stall Supercharger at 3030 Recplace Drive began in July. The station has sat finished since August, waiting for final testing and validation before the switch could be flipped.
The power has now been turned on according to Lisa-Ann Marshall, who shared this photo this morning of her Model S plugged in and receiving a charge.
Since Tesla received funding for this station through Natural Resources Canada, there are also two generic FLO DC fast chargers.
Other stations along the Hwy 97 route include those in Cache Creek, Quesnel, and Williams Lake.
